Call Recording Options
Configure the settings to manage call recordings in Groundwire.
Available Settings
Select > Settings > Preferences > Call recording.
- Show call recording button - Enable (default) or disable the Recording button on the active call screen.
- Record All Calls - Enable or disable (default).
- Split participant channels - Enable or disable (default).
- Recording format - Set the format:
- WAV µ-law (8 kHz) (default)
- WAV PCM16 (16 kHz)
- Ogg Opus (48 kHz)
- Automatically delete recordings - Set a duration to keep the recordings in the application, so that old ones are deleted according to the schedule and do not take up space in the mobile device:
- Keep forever (default)
- After a week
- After two weeks
- After a month
- After two months
- After three months
- After six months .
- Warning beep - Enable (default) or disable.
- E-mail address field - Set an email address to share the recording.
- Upload URL field - Set an upload URL that includes the required parameters of the POST request to upload the recording.
- Recording storage - Saves the recording files in the application or the device storage (default):
- Internal
- External (default).
Open the Keypad tab, select > Preferences > Call Recording.
- Enabled - Enable (default) or disable the Recording button on the active call screen.
- Record All Calls - Enable or disable (default).
- Split participant channels - Enable or disable (default).
- Recording format - Set the format:
- WAV µ-law (8 kHz) (default)
- WAV PCM16 (16 kHz)
- Ogg Opus (48 kHz) .
