Tap Actions Settings
On the Controls screen, customize Groundwire's tap actions if the default settings do not align with the user's preferences.
Default Tap Actions
Select 
> Settings > Preferences > Controls, change the required setting(s).
The default settings are as follows:
- Tap handling - For calling from the Keypad, Quickdial, and History tabs:
- Single tap - Auto Call (default)
- Long press - Show available options (default) This default setting is explained in the Additional Dial Actions section.
- Double tap - No action (default).
Open the Keypad tab, select 
> Preferences > Controls, change the required setting(s).
The default settings are as follows:
- TAP HANDLING - For calling from the Keypad, Quickdial, and History tabs:
- Single Tap - Auto Call (default)
- Long Press - Show Options (default) This default setting is explained in the Additional Dial Actions section.
- Double Tap - No Action (default)
- 3D Touch - Show Options (default).
- GSM TAP HANDLING - For the GSM
button on the Keypad tab: (This applies when Show GSM button is enabled on the Controls screen.) - Single Tap - GSM Call (default)
- Long Press - Show Options (default)
- Double Tap - No Action (default)
- 3D Touch - Show Options (default).
- MESSAGE TAP HANDLING - For the Send
button on the Messages tab: (This applies when the SIMPLE messaging function is enabled.) - Single Tap - Send a Message (default)
- Long Press - Show Options (default)
- Double Tap - No Action (default)
- 3D Touch - Show Options (default).
