Video Call Mode
The section applies to both SIP service and mobile devices capable of making video calls.
In Groundwire, users can configure the following settings for video calls:
- Enabling or disabling a SIP account to make video calls
For multiple SIP accounts users, you can control specific account to be able or unable to make video calls.
- Enabling automatic video calls. See Auto Call in the Additional Dial Actions section.
Setting the Video Call Mode
Groundwire is enabled to make video calls by default. However, you can disable this feature in the SIP account setting if you want to prevent this application from making any video calls.
- To open the Accounts screen:
- Android devices - On the Main screen, select
> Settings > Accounts.
- iOS devices - Open the Keypad tab, select
> Accounts.
- Android devices - On the Main screen, select
- Select the desired SIP account.
- Select Advanced Settings.
- Enable or disable the Enable video calls setting as needed.
- Select
or Done to save the setting.
Setting the Automatic Video Call Mode
By activating the Start video automatically setting in Preferences, all initiated calls are video calls.
- To open the Preferences screen:
- Android devices - On the Main screen, select
> Settings > Preferences.
- iOS devices - Open the Keypad tab, select
> Preferences.
- Android devices - On the Main screen, select
- Enable Start video automatically.
