Making an Attended Transfer
Attended transfer, also known as warm transfer, is when you transfer a call to another destination but want to speak with this new call recipient before the transfer. The first call is put on hold until the call is transferred successfully.
The following video demonstrates how to make an attended transfer through the History and Contacts tabs.
- On the call screen, select the Att. transfer
(Android devices) or the att. transfer
(iOS devices) button to initiate an attended transfer. The application screen displays that the first call is placed on hold.
- Android devices - Select CANCEL TRANSFER if you want to dismiss the transfer.
- iOS devices - Select Dial To Transfer at the top of the screen if you want to dismiss the transfer.
- Decide a contact to forward the call to:
- Select a contact from the Quickdial, History, Contacts, or Messages tab.
- Dial a number in the Keypad tab.
- Select the Call
button.
- Speak with the new call recipient when the new call is answered.
- Select the
Transfer (Android devices) or Transfer (iOS devices) button to transfer the call.
Once the transfer call is initiated, the first call is ended.
