Security Settings
The Security settings have the encryption and security protocols used to protect your SIP communications.
You might consider changing the Security settings depending on personal preferences and the recommendations from the SIP service provider or IT policy.
Security Options
On the Main screen, select > Settings > Preferences > Security.
- Require unlock to answer call - Enable or disable (default). If enabled, when the device is in the Sleep mode, the user must unlock the device prior to answering the call after unlocking.
Change the following settings based on the recommendations of your SIP service provider or IT policy.

TLS (Transport Layer Security)

SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol):
SDES (Session Description Protocol Security)

ZRTP (Zimmermann Real-time Transport Protocol)
-
DTLS (Datagram Transport Layer Security).
Open the Keypad tab, select > Preferences > Security.

Maximum Security - Enable (default) or disable.

Blur Screen When Inactive - Enable or disable (default).

Screen Lock - Users must authenticate themselves using their device's biometric data before accessing Acrobits Softphone functionality.
Require Touch ID - Enable or disable (default).
- Interval - Set the time duration between successive biometric prompts as Immediately, After 1 minute, After 15 minutes, or After 1 hour.
Change the following settings based on the recommendations of your SIP service provider or IT policy.
