SIP Account

Acrobits Softphone must be registered with at least one SIP account to make calls, and it supports multiple SIP accounts.

To configure SIP accounts in the Accounts screen:

  • Android devices - On the Main screen, select setting icon > Settings > Accounts.

  • iOS devices - Open the Keypad tab, select setting icon > SIP Accounts.

Managing SIP Accounts

Deleting a SIP account removes the SIP account credentials from the device, but you can disable the account if you intend to use it later. To add another SIP account, follow the instructions in the Adding a SIP Account section.

Android iOS

In the Accounts screen, touch and hold a SIP account:

Edit SIP account - Makes changes to the SIP credentials. Select a check icon to save the changes. Clone account - Generates a duplicate account with the same domain but different title, name, and password. Disable account - Relocates an account to the Disabled account section, while the credentials remain stored on the phone. Alternatively, touch and hold the hamburger icon icon beside the account to move the account. Delete account - Removes the account from the list. Default account - Sets the account as the default.

To edit an account, tap to open the account and then make changes. Select Save to save the changes. In the Accounts screen, select the hamburger icon button:

To delete an account, select the red delete icon icon. To disable an account, touch and hold the hamburger icon icon beside the account to move the account to the DISABLED ACCOUNTS section.

To clone an account, swipe the account slightly to the right until Disable and Clone are visible. Select Clone.

Configuring Account Settings

To configure more settings specific to a SIP account, such as STUN, proxy, audio or video codecs:

  1. Go to the Accounts screen.

  2. Select the desired SIP account.

  3. Select Advanced Settings.
