# Open White Label
> A white-label softphone license tier with no domain restrictions

Open White Label is a white-label softphone license that lets a single branded app serve customers across unrelated domains, removing the single-parent-domain restriction of a standard White Label license.

## What is Open White Label?
Open White Label is a [white-label softphone](/voip-glossary/white-label-softphone/) license tier with no host restrictions. A single branded app can serve customers hosted on completely separate, unrelated domains — or on bare IP addresses — useful for resellers, OEMs, and multi-brand operators whose customers don't all sit under a single provisioning root.

## How it differs from standard White Label
A standard White Label license is scoped to one parent domain and all of its subdomains. Open White Label lifts that scope: the same app can be provisioned for customers on any host — alternative domains *or* bare IP addresses — regardless of ownership. Standard White Label fits resellers running customers under customer1.mycompany.com, customer2.mycompany.com, and so on; Open White Label fits portfolios where customer hosts are independent (separate domains, IP-only deployments, or a mix).
