QR provisioning lets users scan a code to instantly configure their softphone with VoIP account settings.

## What is QR provisioning?
QR provisioning is a method of [auto-provisioning](/voip-glossary/auto-provisioning/) where a user scans a QR code containing encoded account credentials and server settings. The [softphone](/voip-glossary/softphone/) app reads the code and configures itself automatically — no manual entry required.
