Provisioning

The process of configuring and activating VoIP services and endpoints

What is provisioning?

In telecommunications, provisioning is the process of preparing and configuring network resources, user accounts, and endpoint devices so that a subscriber can use a service. For VoIP, this includes setting up SIP credentials, server addresses, codec preferences, and feature permissions.

Automated provisioning

Auto-provisioning eliminates manual configuration by pushing settings to devices or apps automatically. Methods include QR code scanning, URL-based provisioning, and zero-touch provisioning — all supported by Acrobits Cloud Softphone.
